Music Ministry

MUSIC MINISTRY

Music is an important part of our ministry here at First Baptist.  We made
a decision over 15 years ago to be contemporary in our approach to worship, while at the same time remaining strong in our presentation of God's Word. In other words, God's message remains the same, it is our method of conveying that message that is kept up-to-date.

We currently have two worship teams that lead us on Sunday mornings
for worship.  Each team has their own style/sound and help to keep our worship services fresh every month.  Both teams are led by our Minister
of Music, Terry Smith. Terry picks the music and practices with each team to get ready for our services.

Along with our worship teams, we have a dedicated and talented sound & lighting crew that work behind the scenes to make sure our congregation hears and sees every part of our services.

Throughout the year have opportunities for others to be involved in special programs and choirs that are put together for Christmas, Easter, and sometimes just because it's Sunday.  Contact Terry to find out what is coming up that you might be able to participate in.
